Last week at the SHAPE National HPE conference, Joey Feith conducted Pop-up PD sessions. During his "Purposeful Tech. in PE" session, he shared his Heart Rate Zone Viewer for Middle School. This Slides version of the viewer is perfect for use in Chromebook classrooms: goo.gl/x2VmoV
Just add it to an announcement in Google Classroom and your students will be able to gain both a visual and deeper understanding of heart rate zones.
A great way to utilize this resource is to have a station set up for students to view during a break in activity.
If you'd like to hear to Joey explain some of his ideas for using the viewer click here: https://www.periscope.tv/phys_educator/1vAxRgNMbqDKl?t=29m32s
Many thanks, Joey, for the effort creating a resource like this entails!
