A useful interactive can be found here: https://goo.gl/4WTe7m It allows students to consider the various options that break the chain of infection. Students could explore the various ways to break the chain and then use the additional information here: https://goo.gl/gfGM7e to expand that exploration. The CDC also offers a great deal of information including this link to information on various current outbreaks: https://goo.gl/zRroYR. If you create a lesson plan using any of these ideas, please share here!

Garrett Derr (@GDerrSDOL) shared this awesome option for improving student discussion: bit.ly/31FpFmZ Garrett shared it in keynote and I re-created it in Slides so that everyone would be able to utilize it regardless of the devices students are using. Feel free to edit as needed to meet your student needs! Such a great tool to get kids involved!! Just have students make their choice and then turn their device around to show the rest of the class or, just you, if that works best for your kiddos. From there you or a student leading the discussion can facilitate the sharing of the rest of the responses. Responses could be verbal or typed, as long as you have students make their own copy either through Google Classroom, or a copy link QR code, or a short link to the copy link. (Here's the copy link to share with your students: bit.ly/DISCUSSit , case sensitive. )
