Students will find their own space and sit. The first slide will pop-up and students will try to solve the math problem. If they know the answer, they will raise their hand. The answer will tell the students which exercise they will perform for 20 seconds. Start the timer and they can see how many they can do in 20 seconds.
Crack the Code is one of my favorite cooperative activities. While there are several versions of this activity, I found the one created by Ryan Ellis particularly interesting. I discovered it while listening to his podcast . I then headed to his website to see the activity sheets he created. Inspired by this activity, I created a Google Slides doc to use in class.
